🕯️ DIY “Cozy Critter Candle” – A Pet-Safe Jar Candle with Charm 🐾🌿

Make a calming lavender or cedarwood candle in your empty Myco Pet jar — the perfect self-care moment for you (and a gentle nod to your furry friend).
Bonus: Add a cute charm or paw print trinket for a heartfelt touch!

🛠️ Materials You’ll Need:

  • ✅ 1 clean Myco Pet glass jar

  • Soy wax flakes (natural & pet-safe)

  • ✅ 1 cotton wick

  • ✅ Wick sticker or hot glue

  • ✅ Popsicle stick or chopstick (for centring the wick)

  • ✅  (Optional) Lavender or cedarwood essential oil (safe in small amounts*)

  • ✅ (Optional) Small mushroom charm, paw trinket, or dried herbs

  • ✅ (Optional) Natural candle dye (pet-safe, no synthetic fragrance)

🐾 Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Prep the Jar
Clean and dry your Myco Pet jar thoroughly.
Stick or hot glue your wick to the center of the jar’s base.

  2. Melt the Wax
In a double boiler or microwave-safe container, gently melt wax flakes.
Stir occasionally until fully melted and smooth.

  3. Add Scent & Color
Remove wax from heat and add 5–10 drops of essential oil.
Stir in candle-safe dye if using (go for soft, natural hues!).

  4. Embed Extras (Optional)
Carefully drop in a small mushroom charm, paw token, or pressed herb.
Position it near the edge for visibility!

  5. Pour the Wax
Slowly pour the scented wax into your jar.
Use a popsicle stick or chopstick to keep the wick centered.

  6. Let It Set
Allow the candle to cool and harden for 2–4 hours.
Trim the wick to about ¼ inch for a clean, safe burn.

  7. Light & Enjoy
Light your Cozy Critter Candle on calm evenings, during baths, or next to your favorite book.
🐕 Always place candles out of reach of pets when burning.

⚠️ Pet-Safe Candle Tip:

Use only pure essential oils in low quantities.
Avoid toxic oils like tea tree, eucalyptus, and citrus.
